Open Mail

If you are not prompted to create a new account, go to the MailSettings or Preferences menu

Select the Accounts tab and click the + icon at the bottom left

Select the Other Mail Account... mail provider

Fill in the following details:

Name

The name you would like other people to see when they receive emails from you 

Email Your full email address, e.g. name@yourdomain.com 
Password The password you used when creating the email in cPanel 


Click Sign in

If prompted to enter additional details, use the following:

User Name

Your full email address, e.g. name@yourdomain.com

Account Type

If you are only planning to check this email address this computer, select POP3.

If you plan to check it on more than one computer and would like to access historical email and folders on all of them, select IMAP.

Incoming Mail Server

Use mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name)

Outgoing Mail Server

Use mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name)


Click Sign in

If you already use Notes on your device and don't want to synchronise them to this new email account, disable syncing of Notes.

Click Done

Close the Accounts window
